1) Download Scheduled Shutdown from Sourceforge.

2) Extract the file ScheduledShutdown1.0.zip.

3) Install Scheduled Shutdown.

4) Run Scheduled Shutdown. Now Slide the Slider to a Specified Time Interval and Click Start.

There is a simple RUN command that will automatically shut down your PC after a given period.

>Click on Start
>Go to Run or Just hit “windows button + R”
>Type shutdown.exe -s -t 300 (it is the time converted in second, after which the PC will shutdown)
For example if I give shutdown.exe -s -t 300, the system will shut down in 300 Seconds. If you need to make it one hour, just input shutdown.exe -s -t 3600
>then press OK.

Be careful about the space after shutdown.exe & after shutdown.exe –s.

If you want to cancel it, just open Run by hitting “Windows Button +R” or by just choosing start >run and then type

Shutdown.exe -a

This will abort any shutdown schedules that are already running.
