Prisma is now available for Android. Prisma for android was released on play store on 24th July. It is a hot app for last few weeks. Initially it was only available for iphone. Now it is also available for android. Beta version of prisma app was available for the last 6 days. Prisma makes your photos look like painted or drawn artwork. Prisma might be acquired by the Tech giant (Source).
Prisma’s co-founder shared some stats about the app in the short time it’s been available:
- Over 400 million photos have been ‘prismed’
- It’s been downloaded over 10.6 million times on iOS alone
- The are over 1.55 million daily active users
- Daily downloads maxed out about 700k
The Android app has quite all the same features as the iOS version. It has over 30 filters and support for either taking a new photo or choosing existing ones from your gallery.

How to Save Prisma Photos?
For first time users, Prisma might be a little confusing. You can easily edit the picture you want, but you can’t see an option to save it right.
There is two way you can this.
First method is to go to the settings and enable the option “Save artworks automatically”
Second option is, after you have edited the photo, you can see the share button in the app. Just share the photo via any social media and then it would come in gallery. Alternatively, you can select the “ES save to option” if you have installed ES File Explorer.
