Shanta Jahan is a hot tv actress and model of Bangladesh. She came into limelight with her Bangla Natok “Nine and Half”. She was the teacher in that Natok. The serial revolves around a group of university students whose individual stories unravel along the way. She is currently working in ATN Bangla. She also worked in RTV.

Shanta Jahan is a popular face to all the viewers at present. With her, smiling face and artistic conversation viewers are being impressed day-by-day. It is her pleasure that Shanta got the opportunity to act with her favorite actress Suborna Mustafa. She acted with Suborna in Kazi Nazrul Islam’s special play titled “Shesh Hoinai Bela” under the direction of Nahid Ahmed Pial. The play was aired within this month on a satellite channel.
Shanta Jahan is a basically a host of the TV show. Only for her passion, she acted in two plays. She started her hosting career by a program of Channel 9 titled Sonar Bangla in 2012. Later she hosted many TV shows like Boishakhi TV’s Good Morning Bangladesh, Eid shopping related shows, Eid celebrity gossip show, Boishakhi festival, etc.
Basically, she came into the limelight to host the one-month long daily show based on International Trade Fair on ATN Bangla in 2013. Now she is also hosting popular film-related show Swarnali Sadakalo on ATN Bangla. A few days ago, she also hosted World Cup Football related show on SA TV titled Sambar Taal-e. She also hosted Banglavision’s Iftarir Ayojon, the same type of program on ATN Bangla.
She is now a regular host of Channel 9’s Bijoyini, celebrity gossip Godhulir Nimontron-e and Boishakhi TV’s daily live show Alap.
While sharing her feelings about her hosting Shanta told this correspondent, “In fact, I fall in love with hosting. I can’t feel satisfaction if I couldn’t host in any TV show every day. I am really enjoying the hosting. Everybody pray for me.”
Not only these mentionable programs but also Shanta is also hosting Bangladesh Television’s Campus Taroka, Tara Bhora Raat-e, Shudhu Gaan Noi, Gaan Sarabela and Chhayachhondo.
Shanta is the daughter of late Abdus Sattar and Jahanara Begum of Damudya Upazila of Shariatpur.
